It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberto Winston Forbes (Jonesboro, Georgia), who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Forbes and Elsa Margarita Forbes; and his mother-in-law Cynthia Roper. He is survived by: his wife Ana; his children, Roberto Junior (Anayansi), Eugenio, Derek (Jaisa), Anthony (Fleurette), Khadine (Brant) and Gary (Grace); his grandchildren, Yashira, Defghi, Roberto, Derek Jr., Shadia, Jair, D'Angelo, Deijanis, D'genaro, Anthony Jr. and Aniyah (Bowie); his great grandchildren, Arielys, Aldrick, Jahlive, Jahdiel and Jahsir; his sister Amalia; and his goddaughter Jovana. He is also survived by many nieces/nephews and close friends.

He started working for the Panama Canal in 1976 and received many awards based on his service, achievements and contribution to the Commission of the Panama Canal.
