He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Lee "Buddy" Davenport, Sr.; his grandparents, Melvin Hubert Davenport, Grace Kimble Davenport, Kernel Lee and Rachel Knighten Prestage; and his nephew Stephen Whitmire.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Davenport; his children, Michael "Mike" Lee Davenport (Danielle) of Newnan, April Michelle Davenport of Hampton and Thomas Phillip Davenport (Kayla) of Jackson; his mother Nancy Davenport of Griffin; his siblings, Hubert Davenport (Donna) of Carrollton and Judy Whitmire (Aaron) of Griffin; and his grandchildren, Jared Davenport, Maverick Davenport, Alston Davenport-Mosley and Amelia Davenport. He is also survived by nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, extended family.
