We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2023, at the age of 94, John Sowell (Jonesboro, Georgia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Sowell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Elizabeth Sowell; and his son Michael B. Sowell. He is survived by: his children, Susan S. Kyte (Wallace) of Forsyth and Jim Sowell (Donna Faye) of Lilburn; and his grandchildren, Jason Williams, Jay Kyte (Angie), Michelle Reece (Chris), John Sowell, Christopher Sowell (Jill), Matthew Sowell (Danielle) and Lauren Gillespie (Ryan). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; many cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Masonic Home of Georgia, P.O. Box 4183 Macon, GA 31208 in memory of Mr. John "J.B." Sowell.
