He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Louise Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Audrey Barnes Mellen (Seth) of Atlanta and David Jon Barnes of Riverdale; his grandsons, Seth Mellen IV, Graham Mellen (Caitlin) and John Mellen; and his great grandchildren, Charles Mellen, Daniel Mellen, Elizabeth Mellen and Meredith Mellen.
