He was predeceased by: his son Thomas Procell; and his brother Thomas Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Burgess; his sons, Charles Burgess (Rumiko) and Joseph Burgess (Melinda); his sister Barbara Bennett; and his grandchildren, Daniel Procell (Melissa), Cody Burgess (Tara), Tatsuya Burgess, Emma Burgess, Canon Burgess and Cason Burgess. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
