It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Ray Gardner of Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Johnny Ray Gardner; and his parents, James Robert and Ellene Violet Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Gardner; his daughter-in-law Carrie Gardner of Independence, MO; his stepsons, Billy Jones (Selena) of Griffin and John Jones (Michelle) of Stockbridge; his brothers, Jerry Gardner (Patty) of Locust Grove, Tommy Gardner (Debbie) of McDonough and Danny Gardner of Forest Park; his siblings-in-law, Bob Boyd (Annette) of Lawrenceville and Lucy Clark (Johnny) of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Dane Gardner, Eli Gardner, Wesley Jones, Alexis Jones Pillsbury (Blake), Claire Jones and Camille Jones; and his great grandchild Kayce Pillsbury. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Baptist Church Jonesboro, P.O. Box 773 Jonesboro, GA 30237 in memory of Mr. Bobby Ray Gardner.
