With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenda Sims Fountain of Jeffersonville, Georgia, who passed away on March 10, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" and Leona Bennett Sims; and her siblings, Barbara "Bob" Bryant, Dan Sims, Herman "Hotrod" Sims and Jordan Sims.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil A. Fountain, Sr.; her children, Debbie Atkins (Roger), Donna Pierce (Donnie), Karen Burke (Lee Stringer) and Cecil Fountain, Jr. (Tracie); her stepson Jim Fontaine (Tina); her grandchildren, Chris Patat, Holly Prather (Michael), Derek Burke (Kathryn), Clay Lavender (Jessie), Candace Gibson (Michael), Rachel Thigpen (Josh), Brandon Fountain, Trey Fountain, Nathan Atkins, Christina Fontaine (Fontaine) and Brandon Fontaine; and her siblings, Reid Sims (Margaret) and Gloria Floyd. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
