He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lee Kurtz, Sr. and Mary Catherine Brickle Kurtz; his brother Daniel Lee Kurtz, Jr.; and his great grandchild Nathaniel Oliver Pate. He is survived by: his wife Debbie M. Kurtz of Dublin; his children, Mary Kurtz (Timothy O'Neal) of Dublin, Stephanie Thompson (Ches) of Perry, Jennifer Watkins of Jeffersonville, Matthew Watkins (Lisa) of Buford and Mark Watkins (Christy) of Lilburn; his brother Tim Kurtz (Wendy) of Macon; and his sister-in-law Elaine Kurtz of Kathleen. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
