He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Thomas Layfield and Elaine Hill Layfield. He is survived by: his wife Jane Layfield (Hoschton); his children, Thomas Layfield (Nicole) and Weston Layfield (Rachel) of Southern Pines, NC; and his grandchildren, Trey Layfield, Wyatt Layfield, Eli Layfield, Sam Layfield, Owen Layfield and Evelyn Layfield. He is also survived by husband, parent, and grandparent.
