He is survived by: his wife Mary Aikens Franklin; his sons, Earl and Lucky Franklin; his grandson Jeffery Franklin; his daughter-in-law Sandra Franklin; and his grandchildren, Tim Franklin (Marie), Payden Franklin, Melissa Holland, Cortney Franklin and Tracy Franklin.
