She was predeceased by: her parents, O. B. Campbell and Florence Wood Campbell; her husband Benjamin O. Askew, Jr.; and her son David C. Askew. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary (Peter Nelson) and Angela (Johnnie Wenger); and her grandchildren, Samantha Wilson, Tricia Turner, Mary Beth Laney, Kayla Reeves, Benjamin Askew IV, Benjamin Wenger and Sydney Wenger. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
