He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ivy Dean and Annie Mae Dean; his spouse Ileva Dean; his daughter Lacretia; his grandmother Waller; his children, Charline Merritt (Randy) and Johnny Powell Jr. (India); his grandchildren, Dion Mitchell, Rodereck Mitchell, Dereck Mitchell, Antwan Powell (Elizabeth), Brandon Merritt, Jordon Merritt, Jawan Powell and Brittany Powell; his siblings, Unice, Ivy Jr., Ector Dean, Love Dean Freeman, Julia Lee Grissom and Clara Dean; and his siblings-in-law, Willie B Manghram and Clara Bell Tilghman. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a limit of 3 people at a time in the Funeral Home with social distancing of six feet.
