She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edwards Gilmore and Willie Mae Fontaine Gilmore; her son Samuel L. "Sam" Withers; and her siblings, Martha Martin, Douglas Gilmore, James Gilmore and Frank Gilmore.
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. "Bob" Withers, Jr. of Hogansville; her daughter Becky; her son-in-law William Watson, Jr. of Thomaston; her grandson Will (Christen Watson); her great grandchild Ansley Kathryn Watson; and her sister-in-law Ann Gilmore of Oxford, MS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
