She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Clayton Blount and Lois Smith Blount of Hinesville, GA; her husband Richard A. "Dick" McMahan; and her sons, Michael T. McMahan and Matthew McMahan.
She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyn DeLargy (Paul) and Clayton L. "Buddy" Blount (Flora); her nieces and nephews, Pam DeLargy (Craig Calhoun), Amy Collins (Mike), Kip DeLargy, Clay Blount (Beth) and Steven Blount (Mariangela); and her daughter Patricia McMahan. She is also survived by her parents and grandparents.
