With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Bailey of Hinesville, Georgia, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edd and Georgia Carter Young Bailey; and her brother Ernest Bailey. She is survived by: her daughter SandraCarew (Frederick Sr) of Hinesville Georgia; her grandchildren, Frederick Carew Jr. (Porcha) of Belgium and Kamica Carew (Joseph) of Germany; her great grandchildren, Jasmyn Carew of Valdosta and Christopher Carew of Belgium; and her siblings, Julia West, George Bailey, Lillian Wimberly, JT Bailey, Betty Warner and Irene Greenwade. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
