He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive father Jack (Evelyn Goff); his parents, Jack Goff and Evelyn Goff Thompson; his granddaughter-in-law Krista Goff; his wife Charlotte Goff; his sons, Richard Gary Goff (Darlene) and Mike Goff (Melanie); his grandchildren, Richard Goff, Elizabeth Townsend (Jason), Ellen Goff and Michelle Goff; and his great grandchildren, Charlie Goff, Riley Goff and Scarlett Townsend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Allenhurst Presbyterian Church.
