With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Key of Hephzibah, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on January 7, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Greg Watts. She is survived by: her husband Robert Lawrence Key Sr.; her children, Michael Key (Patti), Lisa Key-Watts, Kenneth Key (Jane), Jamie Key (Martha) and Robert Key Jr. (Pat); and her siblings, Bobby Taylor (Marie), Ann Rosier (Jim), Duane Taylor (Nancy), Beverly Miller and Cindy Haynes (Gary). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends.
Because of the family's respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.
