He is survived by: his spouse Lilli Y. Pope; his children, Dinta S. Pope and Marvin L. Pope, Jr. (Ashanti); his granddaughter Ayanna M. Freeman; his siblings, Diania Pope-Bryant, John Arthur, Jr. (Janice), Leon, Gregory, Wayne and Ernest Pope; and his friends, Snake, Magnum, Charlie Rock, Chill, Fairchild, Nails and Bill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
