She was predeceased by: her parents, Dela Mae and John Henry Rhodes; her husband Thomas Roy Helms; her children, Pat Atkins (Larry) and Tommy Helms; her siblings, Martha Edna Bloodworth (George), Annie Laura Livingston (Jeff), David Meyer Rhodes (Patricia), James Luther (Bud) and Edmund Eugene Rhodes; her nieces, Dianne Bentley (Ed) and Mary Richey; and her nephew Danny Bloodworth.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Helms Abney (Stuart); her granddaughter Lisa Coody (Curtis); her great grandchildren, Caitlin Coody and Jacob Coody; her grandchildren, Scott Southerland and Candace Howard; her great grandchild Trevor Howard; her granddaughter Allison Southerland; and her great grandchildren, Sydnee Southerland and Cameron Salter.
