He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Welch (Amy) and Richard Welch (Courtney Jones); his siblings, Julian Welch, Clyde Welch and Beth Geeter; his grandchildren, Morgan, Ali, Nikki, Lizzie and Abbie; and his great grandchildren, Eli and Elijah Gray.
