He was predeceased by: his father Oris Thomas; and his sisters, Jackie Ogletree and Shirley Pittman. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Stanley (Hal) and Jason Thomas (Christina); his siblings, Melvin, Lottie, Sarah and Ricky Thomas; his grandchildren, Antoria, Hannah, Jacen Thomas, Kayla and Kaitlyn Stanley; and his friend Chad O'Connor.
