He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David West Sr. and Mamie Hightower West; his wife Hope R. West; his children, Catina West and Lamonte West; his brothers, Lester West (Diane), Tommy West, Benjamin West (Lechia) and Freddie Jones (Carolyn); his aunt Louise Dumas; his uncle Jim West (Peggie); his grandchildren, Jasmine West, Emmanuel West and T'Nijah Jackson; and his great grandchild Emmanuel West Jr.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and relatives.
