He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Erford Lee and Lurlene Martin Mote; his wife Jean Townsend Mote; his grandson Clayton Lee Coleman; and his brothers, Lamar Mote, Maxi Mote and Reverend Ronald Mote.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Mote, Cherryl Renaud-Mote, Kimberly Kitchens and Eddy Mote; his sister Lois Mote Nations; and his sisters-in-law, Willette Mote and Vickie Mote. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, as well as a host of friends.
