With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Walter Hightower of Griffin, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on June 10, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Washington Hightower and Ethel Lillie Ray Hightower; and his brothers, Larry Hightower and Billy Hightower. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hightower; his children, Kristi Butler (Michael McMurrian) and Michael Hightower (Amber); his grandchildren, Landon Butler, Olivia Hightower, Ava Hightower and Lucas Hightower; and his siblings, Ellen Almand (Don), Wayne Hightower and Debbie Lord (Tony).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Glen Haven Baptist Church Building Fund in Marvin's memory, ensuring his legacy of faith and service continues.
