She was predeceased by: her son Bobby Larry Sammons; her great grandchild Amber Michelle Phillips; and her siblings, O. C. Hawkins (Johnnie, Sharkie Hawkins), Jamie Hawkins Sr., Harold Hawkins (Linda) and Carolyn H. Reese Morgan (Aubrey).
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda S. Phillips; her grandson Ricky R. Phillips (Ann) of Gibson; her great grandchild Shelby R. Phillips of Sandersville; and her sister-in-law Gloria Hawkins of Edgehill.
