He was predeceased by: his sons, Tom Engle and George S. Engle, III. He is survived by: his son Robert D.; his daughter-in-law Kerry Engle; his grandchildren, Frank, Cara Engle of Marietta, GA, Jessie, Patrick Harrigan, Robbie, Adrianna Engle and Greg Engle; and his great grandchildren, Hank Harrigan, Grace Engle, Beau Harrigan, Sam Engle and Bridger Engle.
