She was predeceased by: her parents, Salome Mejia and Maria Teresa Serrano-Mejia. She is survived by: her husband Francisco Antonio Acevedo of Gainesville; her children, Vilma L. Guerra of Gainesville, Eric Acevedo of Austell and Franky Acevedo of Gainesville; and her sister Sarai Mejia of El Salvador.
