He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Overby Ray of Gainesville; his children, Jeremy Ray of Gainesville and Christy Ray of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Cristal Ray, Thalia Stewart, Elijah Ray and Isaac Ray; and his siblings, Lamar Ray of Gainesville, Kate Chambers of Gainesville, Deborah Stowe of Oakwood, Brenda Hulsey of Braselton and Trudie Irvin of Gainesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
