She was predeceased by: her husband William David "Pete" Gillespie; and her siblings, James, Andrew, Johnny, Rufus, Eugene Jenkins, Alice Little and Connice Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Delores Bramlett (Jim), Lamar Gillespie (Roberta) and Ronald Gillespie; her granddaughters, Becky Smith (Shane) and Tara Hadley (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Kayla, Brantley Smith, Erin, Sterling and Mary Jane Price; and her siblings, Etheleen Hooper, Elsie Thompson (Harold) and Fannie Black. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to Corinth Baptist Church 3590 Thompson Bridge Road Gainesville, GA 30506.
