It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Pirkle of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Forsyth, Georgia, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burruss and Della Burruss; her husband Frank Pirkle; her siblings, John Burruss, Frank Burruss, Ruth Plowden and Becky Watkins; and her son-in-law Dennis Pitts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Strickland (Perry), Jane Pitts and Lori Roberts (Mike); and her grandchildren, Knox Roberts and Tatum Roberts. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
