She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Michael and Maria Bayer of Bavaria, Germany; her husband Don Cottrell; her daughter Tricia Claytor of Gainesville; and her brothers, Gustav Bayer, Siegfried Bayer and Manfred Bayer of Bavaria, Germany..
She is survived by: her children, Mike Cottrell (Lynn) of Dahlonega, Christine Cottrell of Gainesville, Terry Leming (Derrick) of Lawrenceville and Kathy Moore (Chuck) of Savannah; her brother Johann Bayer (Monique) of Belgium; her pet Karlie; and also Jennifer Ewing. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
