He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Jack" and Ivy. He is survived by: his husband Gordon; his sister Jackie Mills of Okanagan Falls; and his children, Janet Martyn (Ed) of Cumberland and Geoff Catherwood (Greta) of Vancouver.
