It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Edward Marks of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Marks; his son Jay Jackson; his children-in-law, Erin Jackson and Luke Young; his grandchildren, Lily Jackson, Ian Jackson, Ryan Travis, Kenley Marks, Nash Robbins, Max Robbins and Micah Young; his sister Jan Alfieri; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Alfieri and Laurel Marks.
Due to COVID- 19, the family will have a private graveside service at New Hope United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial contributions be made to New Hope United Methodist Church in memory of James E. Marks.
