With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances W. Martin (Gainesville, Georgia), who passed away on September 26, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom Wilkerson and Lona Jarrard Wilkerson; her husband Edward Lee Martin; her siblings, Dolly Hoagland, Boyd Wilkerson, Floyd Wilkerson and Loyd Wilkerson; and her grandson Joshua Gamble.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Gamble (Scott Reid), Eddie Martin (Dinah), Jean Elliott, Patricia Whitmire and Ronnie Martin; her grandchildren, David Kelley (Sonya), Kim Appling (Tony), Eddie Martin Jr. (Becky), Michael Martin (Kellie), Christopher Elliott, Brandon Whitmire, Adam Whitmire (Amy), Lance Whitmire (Van) and Tasha Honea (Jonathon); her sister Shirley Flowers; and her siblings-in-law, Bobbie Martin, Sue Martin and Howard Martin. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren who loved their "Nanny".
The family requests face mask requirements, social distancing, and COVID-19 seating capacity guidelines be followed by visitors.
