She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Smallwood and Ruth Cain Smallwood; her husband Bill Pierce; and her grandsons, Kevin Carder, Randy Pierce and Craig Pierce.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Jerry Carder of Gainesville; her sons, Steve (Gail Pierce), Phillip (Miriam Pierce) and Stanley (Peggy Pierce); her grandchildren, Latrelle McHugh of Gainesville, Jerry D. Carder of Gainesville and Chad Carder of Gainesville; and her sister Lillie Newell of Flowery Branch. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren.
