It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloise Meeks Smith (Gainesville, Georgia), born in Homer, Georgia, who passed away on April 16, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred C. Smith; and her sister Edith Bonds. She is survived by: her daughter Kay Holden; her son-in-law Mark Holden of Jefferson; and her sister Carolyn Thomas Mulkey of Alto. She is also survived by four grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
