She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Martin, Sr. and Mattie Villyard Martin; and her husband Melvin Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Sherrie (Mark Cochran), Carol (Bob Roberts), Lowell Thomas of Gainesville and Calen (Sheryl Thomas); her grandchildren, Hannah Paden, Justin Cochran, Shea Elliott, John Roberts, Sarah Roberts, William Thomas and Christopher Thomas; her brother Harold; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Martin of Gainesville.
