She was predeceased by: her son Curtis McKenney Evans; and her brothers, Wiley Gwin King, Jr. and Joseph William King. She is survived by: her parents, Wiley Gwin and Mary Goggans King; her son Joseph William Evans, III (Raena); her granddaughters, Liz Evans Corbett (Shawn) and Bonita Evans Martin; her husband Richard; and her great grandchildren, McKenney, Michael, Grace Ann Corbett, Effie, Peyton Evans, Bud, Maggie and Amelia Martin.
