It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Smith (Flintstone, Georgia), born in Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on April 14, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Melba Dean Crowley Smith. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Dean Young of Waleska, GA, Rebecca Nina Roddy, Gregory Eric Smith of Story City, David Calvin Smith (Karla) of Tequesta and Fla; his siblings, Patricia, Ann and Danny; and his grandchildren, Matthew Roddy, Sarah Roddy, Charlotte Smith, Benjaman Smith, Kjisten Smith and Theodore Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org.
