He was predeceased by: his parents, George Albert, Sr. and Margaret Lehman Wood. He is survived by: his wife Donna Wood of Fayetteville; his children, Shannon Wood of Lumbard, Illinois and April Rumple (Brian) of Daphne, Alabama; his grandchildren, Laya and Ella; and his sister Marilyn Fetzer of Burlington, Connecticut..
