He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy Henry and Wallis Jeanne Phillips; and his son Austin Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Phillips; his children, Kyle Phillips, Scott Sierra (Samantha), Gracie Phillips, Tracy Bedsaul (Evan) and Michaela Phillips; his grandchildren, Nathan Andrew Sierra, Elias Phillips and Zaylee Bedsaul; and his sister Lisa Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Wayne's name to Troop 2 @ Griffin First Baptist Church.
