It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Ellerbee of Fayetteville, Georgia, born in Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Sherry Ellerbee and Vera Ellerbee; his daughter Patricia Hester; and his siblings, Eugene Ellerbee, Mary Ann Ellerbee and Martha Emmett.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Decker Ellerbee; his stepchildren, Mark Boyd and Michelle Boyd-Rogers; and his sister Sylvia Teggee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
