With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherri L. Hood of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 30, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Marjorie McPherson Hood. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Ivey and Rachel Wicker (Jeremiah); her father Edgar "Warren" Hood; her brother Durell Hood (Cathy); her grandchildren, Jaycee, Olivia, Brantley and Ashton; her nieces, Cassie Hodgson (Brent) and Caley Oliphant (T. J.); her aunt Deloris Gohring (Ken); and her pets, Jack and Gypsie.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in memory of Sherri Hood.
