He was predeceased by: his father Paul Martin Evans; and his brother PJ Evans. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Scheer Evans of Ellijay; his wife Abby Evans; his children, Joshua Evans (Allie), Amanda Hing (Julio) of Ellijay and Jordan Ferto (David) of Woodstock; and his brothers, Dean Evans and Joseph Evans (Michelle). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations in memory of Mr. Russell Evans.
