She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Ridings and Ruth Cochran Ridings; her brother John Henry; and her grandchildren, Caleb Deyton, Thomas Deyton and Josiah Deyton.
She is survived by: her children, Lamar (Amanda Craig), Stacy (Karen Deyton), Jason (Sheila Deyton), Donna (T. C. Cochran) and Tonya Deyton of Ellijay; and her siblings, Earl Ridings of Ellijay, Betty Dale of Ellijay, Brenda Weaver of Chatsworth, Linda Hawkins of Talking Rock, Mildred Pendergrass of Ellijay and Claudette Painter of Ellijay. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
