He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Brinkley Simms of Sparks, NV, Claudia Mitchell Harper (Bill) of Kennesaw, GA and Benjamin White "Skip" Mitchell (Pam) of Rossville, GA; his wife Barbara Joan Brinkley; his daughters, Michelle Brinkley Cottongim (David) of Cartersville, GA and Lisa Brinkley Brownlee of Cartersville, GA.; his stepchildren, Melissa Shacklett of Cleveland, TN and James Shannon (Tina); his grandchildren, Lindsey Basnett (Mitch) of Cartersville, GA, Laura Hillengas (John) of Chattanooga, TN, Gabrielle Brownlee, Chloe (Lane Crosley) and Seth Brownlee of Cartersville, GA.; his great grandchildren, Carper, Brexton Basnett, Kinsey, Jackson, Maddie, Chayanne and Vivian Loy; and his brother Eli.
