With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellinora Jones of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on November 11, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Colombus and Nancy Ann Pankey (Banks); her husband J. D. Jones; and her siblings, Para Lee Beard, Clara Faye Clark, Reba Cronan, Mattie P. Pierce and John Pankey.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah (Hassel Chastain) and Donny (Faye Jones); her grandchildren, Matt, Cindy Chastain of Ellijay, GA, Paige and Brian Price; her great grandchildren, Patrick, Katlin Martin, Luke and Kaitlyn Chastain; her great great grandchildren, Brenleigh Chastain, Jasper Chastain and Rhett Martin; and her siblings, Hobert Pankey of Chatsworth, GA and Ruby P. Cochran of Ellijay, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
