She was predeceased by: her parents, Senior Dillard and Mattie Campbell Dillard; and her husband William B. Hayes. She is survived by: her children, Benny Hayes (Adina), David Hayes (Judy), Robert Hayes, Beth Dolan (Pete) and Susan James; her sister Margaret McLeod; and her grandchildren, Joseph James and Peyton Hayes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
