He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Claude Collins and Jane Gertrude Teague Collins; his granddaughter Audriana Collins; and his half-brother Wayne Teague. He is survived by: his wife Judy Lynn Wilson Collins; his daughters, Stacie Hernandez (Sesar) of Ellijay and Heather Collins of Blue Ridge; his siblings, Robert Collins of Cherry Log and Myra Burns (Tim) of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Reyna Hernandez and Tylea Hernandez; and his great grandchildren, JoLynn Hernandez, Jovi Hernandez (Hoyt Kendall) and Mike Anderson.
However, in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) in memory of Mr. Joe Jack Collins.
