He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lee Ponder and Ruby Estell Richard; and his siblings, Pat Ponder Fricks, Sue Ponder Johnson, Evelyn Cricket Ponder Milton and Gary Ponder.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Paulette Ponder of Henton, GA., Dennis Glen Ponder of Talking Rock, GA. and Michael Edward Ponder of Ellijay, GA.; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Ponder of Ellijay, GA. and Judy Ponder Mann (Maxine Ponder Little).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church cemetery fund in memory of Glen.
